Conservatism is alive an well! No matter what happens in this election, we have a future with a leader in the Reagan tradition.
This reaction is for real. Barack Obama’s convention is a distant memory because of Republican VP Candidate Sarah Palin. That is the most amazing, transformational pick, I have ever seen.
To that point one might argue that George H.W. Bush was a horrible pick by Reagan that actually caused a retraction of the Reagan Revolution and set it back with Bush 41, Clinton 42 and Bush 43 = 20 years.
I was afraid that we would be screwed this election before this pick but everyone is excited. Obama now reminds me of Mike Dukakis, a sitting duck waiting to be further exposed for the phony that he is. We already know that Joe Biden is a phony.
I think this election will have coat tails for down ticket races and don’t be surprised if it’s a big win. I am sensing a serious undercurrent of excitement and optimism that has not been with us since before Bush/Quayle screwed things up. Without Bush 41, there would have been no: Perot 92, Clinton 92, Perot 96, Clinton 96, Bush 2000 and Bush 2004.
This election is more significant than we all think. We are back baby! "C"
